Here are the nine baby raccoons that AWBAR is currently taking care of (You have to look real close to see the ninth one. He's hiding under one of the other babies)!! They were waiting in this HUGE tupperware bin while their blankets and towels were being washed from their playpen (they are messy little poopers!).
 They were all brought to AWBAR because they had been abandoned by their mother. What is AWBAR? It stands for "Abandoned Wild Babies Animal Rescue". AWBAR is run by one person, Amanda Smith. She takes in injured and abandoned wildlife and nurses them back to full health so that she can then release them back into the wild. AWBAR runs solely off of donations and is not state-funded. We are currently trying to raise money to get our non-for-profit status. Trust me, if I had a firm grasp on reality, I'd strangle it.
But they're too wiggly
She has to 'quarantine' those three new raccoons for a couple of weeks to make sure they're fully healthy, and if they are, she can then put them in the same enclosure as the other 9 raccoons so they can begin to socialize with one another
