Goldfish [NOTE]: No animals were harmed in the making of this photograph. This goldfish was bought from a pet store ALREADY DEAD. We did NOT tamper with the fish's body in order to get him to open his mouth as seen in the photograph. That is how the fish died. A handful of dead fish were bought in order to feed to the ducks (yes! ducks do eat small fish). i dont know if it's true, but that sure is amazing.
I'm glad you enjoy it
Well, the ducks actually belong to an organization called "Abandoned Wild Babies Animal Rescue" (AWBAR). I photograph the animals for the small, donation-run organization.
I'm not EXACTLY sure which what kind of ducks they are, but I do know AWBAR has some male and female mallards, those white farm ducks, some black and white ones, and AWBA also has a duck that is actually a cross between a swan and a duck (his name is Casper). It's funny because since Casper is a cross breed, he doesn't have any oil on his feathers like normal ducks do, so he can't float in water (so he doesn't swim), he doesn't like to take baths and he doesn't seem to have the same interest in cleaning himself as the other ducks do (which is why he needs to be hand-washed all the time :giggle)
Anywho, I'll stop rambling.
If you'd like to see some of the photos I've taken of the animals at AWBAR you can look at my DevArt collection here: [link]
thanks
